Baptist Joint Committee
The Baptist Joint Committee on Public Affairs (BJC) recently celebrated 60 years of protecting the "first freedom" of all Americans -- religious liberty. Since 1936, the BJC has sounded a consistent call for religious liberty and its corollary, the separation of church and state. The BJC is committed to the twin concepts of Free Exercise and No Establishment found in the First Amendment.
