Would you like to feel more connected to your church and to its members? Sunday morning classes offer more than a weekly Bible study. They also provide a smaller fellowship group where you get to know a few people well. UBC is encouraging members who are not enrolled in any class to find a group that fits you. If you would rather not attend a class, consider becoming an honorary member of a class of your choice. As an honorary member, you would learn about get-togethers, service projects, prayer concerns, and the good news, and you would have a built –in support system for times of crisis or illness. Information about the classes at UBC and how to attend a class or sign up as an honorary member will be provided in upcoming worship guides.

Beginning Ash Wednesday (February 17) through Easter Sunday (April 4), our congregation will be participating in the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship's You've Got the Time Bible listening initiative. While we Baptists say we are people of the Bible, we rarely spend concentrated time in the Scriptures. You’ve Got the Time is an opportunity to spend 28 minutes a day for 40 days listening to, immersing in the New Testament.
For forty days we will listen to provided audio discs (available the beginning of February), engage in spiritual conversations, and pray with one another. Commit to joining our faith family as we individually and collectively listen to God's Word in a new way. Be here Wednesday, February 10 at 6 PM to learn more.
